Busan Yongdusan Park Tower lighthouse 용두산 부산타워 등대

부산은 등대의 도시이다. 여섯 광역시 가운데 등대가 가장 많다. 유인, 무인 합해서 2013년 기준 65곳이다. 그 다음 울산이 49곳, 인천이 35곳이다.

오륙도 등대가 있는 섬은 밭섬 이라 했다. 이 등대는 1937년에 세웠는데 당시 높이가 6.2m 였다. 그리고 1998년 우리 나라 최초로 시민현상 설계공모 실시하여 다시 세운것이 지금의 모습이다. 높이가 27.5m 이고 10초에 한번씩 반짝인다. 빛이 도달하는 거리는 21마일, 40km이다.

용두산등대의 공식명칭은 부산 타워등대 이다. 1973년 건립된 용두산타워에 빛을 내보내기 위해 등명기를 타워 꼭대기에 얹어서 등대의 지위를 얻게 되었다.
2012년 6월 5일에 정부관보에 정식으로 고시 되었고 세계각지의 해도와 등대표에도 나온다.
관보에 고시된 용두산 등대의 기본기능은 '관광 및 항행 원조용' 이다. 관광용 등대 지정은 한국에서 처음이다. 밤 10시 40분까지만 불빛을 보내는데 이는 타워의 운영시간이 그때까지 이기 때문이다. 빛이 다달하는 거리는 40km, 타워높이가 119m이다.
등명기는 전망대의 바로 위에 있다. 한국에서는 현재 가장 높은 등대 이다. 용두산이 해발 69m이고 타워자체 높이가 119m이기 때문이다.
세계에서 가장 높은 등대는 사우디 아라비아의 제다항 등대 인데 높이가 133m이다.
용두산 등대가 비공식적으로 세계에서 가장 높은 등대 일지도 모른다.

According to the official designation, the primary function of Yongdusan Lighthouse is "tourism and navigational aid." It was the first lighthouse in South Korea to be designated for tourism purposes. The beacon light operates only until 10:40 PM, which matches the operating hours of the tower. Its light also reaches 40 km. The tower itself stands at 119 meters, and the beacon is positioned just above the observation deck.
Currently, Yongdusan Lighthouse is the tallest lighthouse in South Korea. Since Yongdusan Mountain is 69 meters above sea level, and the tower itself is 119 meters tall, the total height is significant.
The tallest lighthouse in the world is the Jeddah Light in Saudi Arabia, which stands at 133 meters. However, if considering total height, including elevation, Yongdusan Lighthouse may unofficially be the tallest lighthouse in the world.
